Lots of people recently asking the ol' can I run it question. Maybe because keys are about to go off sale, anyways we all know how different PCs are. Some folks with better rigs than mine have issues so this is in no way a guarantee. I run this game with max settings, AVG. 45 FPS on the current build, no issues. So here's my rig: Windows 7 64 Intel Pentium dual core 2.2 3 GB RAM ASUS Radeon HD 7750 1GB
I average about 60FPS @1680 x 1050 (60Hz), and the grass flickers like hell when it's on. My Setup Windows 7 64 AMD Phenom II 945 @ 3.4ghz 8 GB RAM EVGA GTX 650Ti 2GB
I have two pcs, 1 for gaming (in which could obviously run rust perfectly) and 1 for working in which is outdated in gaming and is very old. Today, I just tried rust on my extremely old pc in which I could run rust with the lowest settings, grass off and the lowest resolution with 30-40 fps. My old pc specs are (Intel Core Duo 2 2.4, 2GB RAM, Radeon HD 2400 xt). It sounds ridiculous but for some reason it runs pretty well for a crap pc.
Win 7 64 AMD A8-3520M APU with Radeon HD 6620G 1.60 GHz 6GB RAM I'm running on Low Quality graphic settings.. and its a lil laggy (prob internet)... My question is, How do you know how many FPS you are getting...

Win7 x64 AMD FX 8350 Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z 2x Nvidia Geforce GTX Superclocked G.Skill 32GB RAM Custom Watercool i get a look trough the map every night caused by a flicker and see the water under the map for 3 seconds ^^
Win 7 AMD Phenom 1055T 2.5Ghz 6 Cores 8GB DDR3 1.333Mhz Memory 60 GB SSD with OS installed on it 7200RPM 1TB HDD With the game installed in it. Sapphire HD 6870 1GB All on stock settings, with a custom CPU Cooler. Game runs fine on low settings and on max settings.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit Intel Core i7 QuadCore 3,40 Ghz Nvidia Geforce GTX660oc 2GB 8Gbs Ram Around 60-70 FPS Max setting 1920x1080p With grass off (Its horryble to have it on because of the grass flickering) Also everynight i get to see under the map for about 2 or 3 seconds.
I got a Palit GTX 560 TI (single fan variant) clocked to 910MHz, and AMD Fx 8350 (8 x 4.5 Ghz) and an ancient asus M5A78L Motherboard and can run beautiful setting on HD without problems, altough my poor GTX gets quite hot. (75°C Although this is acceptable, graphic-cards can run up to 100°C without problems)

But people even think 70-80°C is way to hot. Which is not. Ofcourse a 100°C is harmful but Your card can still work at 100°C. And don't come with "If your card has over 80°C its bad" No its not.

Or the actual plastic in the card melts! 100*C IS EXTREMELY BAD, IT DAMAGES THE COMPONENTS.

But ofcourse its bad, and if you graphics card hit 100°C then get a third party cooler or somethin'.
Pffh! my config is better! AMD E-300 Dual cores 1.3 GHz Radeon 6310 4 GB Ram (I hope you get that this is sarcastic)

We like to compare dick sizes but this is more for people with lower end computers curious if they can run it. Yours is a great example, how well does it run for you?

The rest of the PCB normally has no cooling anything, so they shouldn't see much of a temperature increase even if the GPU itself gets super hot. I'd get some compressed air and go to town on the cooler, though.

My GPU for example, is designed to tolerate up to 105C. This thermal tolerance marks at which point the GPU may become unstable or sustain damage. Every card is different.
We like to compare dick sizes
That pretty much sums it up.
In regards to the high temperature cards; NO card should be at 100C, let alone 75C. a card should run at ~45C at most. If its any higher than that, your card probably has something broken in it and if its at 100C, it WILL start to melt the actual GPU. if you think 100C is okay, it's not, Don't be surprised when your card causes you to bluescreen and you have to get a new one. But my build; AMD A4-3400 Dual-Core @ 2.7Ghz 4GB corsair RAM @ 1333Mhz + 10GB Virtual Ram WD 5400 RPM 500GB HDD Radeon 7770HD @1GB Ghz Edition SteelSeries Apex RAW keyboard Logitech generic wireless mouse SteelSeries Siberia V2 White Frost headset Random neon blue lights in case :D What is my FPS? not sure, Haven't played yet, waiting for my key to get emailed to me (Which seems to be taking forever! Got the key! :D
AMD FX 6300 6-core @ 3.5Ghz 16GB Ram (various brands) Can't remember HDD brand or speed - it's 1TB though Radeon 7790 HD 1GB Some generic Logitech keyboard E-3LUE Gaming Mouse Plantronics GameCom 780 Headset I get about 45FPS on the absolute highest settings, and 60FPS on medium.

My card is A-ok and I asked Palit and Nvidia. They say these temps are well ok. And why 45°C at most? Tell me why it only should have 45°C? And no your GPU Won't just melt. And the new R9 290X reaches up to 90 and Radeon says that OK, explain that please. My card goes stock clocks still to 80°C and I NEVER had a bluescreen or something because of that. But whatever, let me guess, your CPU should be about 35C full load mhm?

If no matter what you do you stay on 1-15 FPS, delete game content and redownload it, that happened to me once, did that and restarted my PC and done
