so one of my admins banned somebody earlier today. i want to unban them but theyre not in the ban.cfg folder, any ideas?
What mod are you using?
only mod that would be able to ban players is oxmin. but it was done through rcon

If you banned someone properly via their 64bitid via RCON then the user will appear in
myserverdata>cfg>bans.cfg
Their line will be
banid 64bitidhere "" ""
Simply remove the entire line and save the cfg, and once the server reboots (or the config is reloaded, which I don't believe can be done) then the user will be able to join again.
If you don't see the ID in that location and the user IS banned, then you're running a mod and the mod probably has a special ban file that it's reading from and executing, I can't help you with that.
im sure they didnt use id64. i normally ban with id64 but i think they just banned by name.
