Alot of people seem to have issues seeing at night and one of the main issues is wolves and bears attacking without being able to see them.
You could just run around with the torch but then you would have more than these animals to worry about.
What if aggressive animals had eyes that glow, wolves could be yellow and bears maybe red.
it'd be cool if they glowed when you had your torch out, but from far enough away that you could see them before they became hostile.
you should be able to tie your torch to your head or spear that way you can see at night and hunt
a cute little head lantern with a rear reflector would be awesome. like a dim flashlight

i think if we got warning growls, or barks again it would make all the difference. sure, you can't see the bastard, but you hear him before he's hit you once and is attacking the second time.
