Hello, Sockem again bringing you another suggestion.
My idea for today regards the radiation that can be found throughout the Rust world. They are static barriers often called "rad walls".
I think radiation should be dynamic, as in it moves around. If you decide to settle next to the factory, and the wind starts blowing in your direction for a day or so, [I]you're screwed[/I] [sp]Unless you just leave of course[/sp]
I don't think it should be fully dynamic, and it's source should always be near the radioactive areas, but it should swell in different places randomly sometimes.
Rather short today, but what do you guys think?

It would be cool if sometimes radiation spreads and sometimes reduce...
It would suck if you rejoined and started dying instantly...
I dont mean to radiation spreads 500m i mean only from 1-8m

You don't die instantly. You need to collect 500 rads to start taking damage.

Yeah, but I just wanted to make the suggestion, and maybe it will be added to the beta

So that you dont gonna die when you respaw/rejoin the game will push you out of the area where the rad is or your house is safe from radiation. I like the idea with the dynamic Rad
Or just an 50 second Radiaton godmode

What i said radiation will spread and reduce but it [U][B]will not spread for 500m maybe only max to 40-80m idk really now[/B][/U] so you don't get spawn killed.Only way you gonna die is if you make house near radiation area.Or if you build house when radiation is reduced and later your house gonna be in radiation area.
Look if you wanna make the game more survival and realistic im with you but some how it will make the game easier because the rad will move and the factory will not be anymore dangoures from rad ONLY if the rad will stay there and there will be wind and push the rad and not delete the rad from the factory

I said semi-dynamic. It will flow from the factory but it won't leave.
How about a large area, and patches of radiation that will move around said area?
I don't believe radiation completely works this way in reality let alone in most games today, though it's an interesting thought. I agree that it could cause spawning and settlement problems though that may be part of the point

It does. Radiation blows with the wind, but it leaves a radioactive path. It is like a dust storm.
