watch, it's not going to get removed, just have the option to filter nudity, people like penis too much it seems.
I think that would be such a lame way to address the issue, pressing a button to automatically put shorts on everyone would be dumb.

That seems to fix the problem for the people who don't like the nudity. Personally I like it. It brings a little humor into the game. My friends and I love running around with no pants on because - Fuck that.

I thought garry was really pushing to have this not happen.

I just think there could be a better way to do it. Maybe spawning with tattered clothes and little cuts as if you have already been surviving. I understand the start with nothing and work your way up idea but i think it was taken a little too literally.

Well when they released the nude model of the main character, they confirmed that they wouldn't change it because it's "their game". And that's good. But the reason they are adding nude/covered models (I believe) is because of the push to steam, and the mass influx of players that will complain about it. Or maybe steam doesn't allow nudity, I dunno. Tattered clothes/cuts would be boring and unoriginal :(

What is original about nudity? What does it add to the game? Also, how is tattered clothes and cuts boring and unoriginal? With that argument i could say that the trees are unoriginal and should be taken out. ALso, its boring? Apparently the nudity excites you.

He was, but it looks like they've finally caved to the pressure. Too many 12 years olds parents wouldn't buy it for them. Can't really blame them though, if you make a game you kinda want to sell it to as many people as possible...

The ignorance of people amazes me
Being female and hating the fact I have to run around as a naked guy, that being said I got use to it and instead focused on enjoying the game rather then stressing over something I could not change.
However I have to add the nudity in this particular game serves no purpose and adds nothing to the game.
My 2 cents.

I think it's more of valve pressuring them to change it for it to be released on steam properly. I don't think Garry would change a feature he was pushing since the beginning just to make accouple more bucks from 12 year olds.

I doubt it's him 'caving into pressure' because of the community or the forum, it's probably because Valve/Steam are pressing him to have some sort of toggle.
That or he just decided to have it in, I dunno.

Yeah, I guess there is a good chance the push came from Valve. I have no problem with it either way, naked or with a loincloth but I do think that a toggle kind of ruins it. They should probably just go one way or the other and since it's obviously an issue, just throw some skivvies on him.

Definitely think they should just choose one and be done with it. I think a toggle would be stupid and unnecessary.
I think it would be better to either just blur the area or make them like ken dolls.
Either way is amusing, if the nakedness can't stay.
