Rust Contest ending rule? (not a thread to post your drawings in) - Rust

*At the moment we are judging pictures we can actually see, and I'm sorry to say that the people who failed to use image tags will be disqualified what are image tags is that the blue link that takes you to a different page or does that mean the drawing is in the post were you can see it without having to go to imgur or something like it

I think people who posted 4400x3600 px. original scans should also be getting slapped down. It's so simple to resize an image so that it doesn't take up 4 monitors worth of space.

Use [noparse][thumb] [/thumb][/noparse], not standard image tags.

well i have a 26 inc monitor and i only have to zoom out to about 90% to see my so it ant that much bigger

The image tags is basically when you write these "[img]www.imageurl.com[/img]" if you woulden't write that instead just write out the URL the moderators would have to go onto that URL, which they woulden't want as it takes a lot of time if 100 entries have just wrote the URL instead of using the image tags, I hope you get what I mean. Dont just punish everyone just because some (ok, a lot) people messed up. My image was big, yeah, but cuz I didnt know how to resize. Now I know, yes and I just didnt spam my post cuz the rules said so. Don't punish everyone. Some people may deserve it (not saying I do, but I bet there is some people out there that really deserve a key and will help you guys making the game better).

We're not disqualifying any that are huge. But if you couldn't take the time to figure out how img tags work on a forum than that's your problem. There's thousands and thousands of posts in that thread, we're not gonna click each of those many many links one at a time to view them just because some people were too lazy to figure out how img tags work or whatever. If you were worried about your image being too big nothing was stopping you from using [thumb] or [t] tags, either. All linking did was make our job extremely tedious.

I used the img tags, just didnt know how to resize it :o And all I was trying to say is that some people didnt do it on purpose.. :/ Whatever.. I also know that all those links are really boring to be checkin one by one. Why do you guys need to answer in a so harsh way?

I dont wanna be this kid begging for keys, i just wanna know.. worked hard on my 2 pics, is there gonna be results or like a thread saying that it ended and who won, so people stop making random threads asking about this, its a bit annoying. :p

Could you please post a thread showing the pics and winners? It would stop a lot of the crying and questions, as well as showcase those that earned their keys.

Thanks for all the information, Postal. I agree with you, people who didn't take the time to figure out how image tags work shouldn't waste the moderator's time. Clicking hundreds of links sounds boring, especially when half of them are scribbles or someone else's work.
