I go through steam to access game. Attempts to the main screen but never make it there. This has only started since the update. Tried a uninstall and reinstall and new download as well as a system restart nothing ? anyone experiencing the same or able to help

Well since the most recent update (5/22) the game will at least begin to load, but still crashes during loading; don't even reach the main menu.

Ok So I found this amazing post by a [I]giosepeluiz[/I] that fixed my problem.
