Ok so i moved house and i dont have internet so i have been playing at a gaming cafe down the road.. when i got there today i went to play my server and i was VAC banned. Please explain why i cant play when i sent $20 on the game. How can i get unbanned because that shit it fucked. Honestly i dont pay $20 to not be able to play, i only got the game 4 days ago and all my friends are telling me to get online.

If u have been playing on public pc... there might have been hacks installed.

I think it may be because you're using steam on different PCs at different locations but I'm not sure. All I know is that my friend gave his steam account to like a few other people if they wanted to play games and they went on at different times and this caused a VAC ban. Your ban may be similar but misunderstood.

Unfortunately there's nothing Garry can do about it since it is VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) you're going to have to talk to the big boys.
Out of curiosity, why did you come here to try and reverse your ban as opposed to contacting Valve? The game may be made by Facepunch, but they have no authority with regards to VAC bans. Simply put: you have to contact Valve with your situation.
The only way you'll get a refund is by doing a chargeback.

Yeah, but it's always fun to rub it in their face.
Thankfully most hackers/cheaters and the sort are creatures of habit. They will keep a couple of user names they will always use... Usually you are able to link some of the user names to each other and find out that at least one of them is used on a cheating site or something.... :P
