My account was deleted? - Rust

So I'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking but I didn't see a help thread, so forgive me if there is one. I tried logging on to play the game today and it gave the response "Account not found, or wrong password." I tried to do it again, making sure my password for the game was correct and that my email was the right one, same response. When I went to see if my password was wrong, now my account can't be found to begin with. Was there some sort of deletion of certain accounts or something? If there was, sorry for not looking that hard for it. Is there any way I could get my account back possibly, as well? I'd like to play the game again.

They reported on their website a server crash. There was also someone who had the same incident, just wait a while and it should work soon. If not, then try and contact a dev if their available.

Can't login either, password recovery can't find my account.

Alot of accounts have been deleted, if you havent played in a long time, or your key was like 000-000 or something like that... Which i think is bs, cause some people just can't play the game for a month or 2 for some reasons, maybe going to the army or maybe a long vacation or something, plus there was no warning, now my friend has been gone for about a month or 2 and he hasn't played since, his account is probably gone to, they should really bring them back. Same problem here, I haven't played much cause I was waiting for my new PC...I hope it gets fixed soon....

They removed 10,000~15,000 accounts recently. The people who became 'victim' to this either did not play their account at all, played it barely, or didn't play it for months on end.

I believe that the account deletions were a good thing, by becoming a alpha game tester you are suppose to play constantly and give feed back now I understand that some people cant play everyday but and longer than a month without playing at all and I think your account should be deleted and the key given to someone that will play constantly and do what the ALPHA TESTERS are suppose to be doing.

They take their time to integrate in normal social life rather than sitting in front of the monitor 24/7. Some people even got an expansion pack like "university" or "work" where they invest time to build up a good and solid basis for their lives. So, when they come back home, want to relax and don't want to stress around with exams or don't want to prepare another powerpoint-presentation for their boss, they just want to play. And when you see a dumb error saying that you're not allowed to login I can understand the people here when they become angry about this. They're offering time and help for developing Rust as much as they [U]can[/U]. We're not robots!

Okay at no time did I say that you must log on everyday and play 24/7 as I said I believe that a month will give you enough time to log on and play before your account is deleted just remember that the game is in alpha and if people are not playing for months on end then the developers are not getting feedback. I will leave on that note as this conversation has gone way off topic and I dont wish to be banned so have a nice day. (P.S) This is completely my opinion and I wouldnt want to oppose my opinion on you if you believe something else, this is just my thought on this topic.

10,000 people lost there accounts due to the crash it was actually because if people didnt play for at least a week at that time

My user ID was like 59 or something and I guess I lost my account. I didn't get a chance to play in over 3 weeks I can see why it happened. Guess I'll wait for it to go public.

I can't get into my account either. I signed up way back before garry posted about it and it blew up.

It seems like the people complaining about this were inactive too... Sorry if I'm wrong, but it's a better explanation than many.
