hallo fellow playes i have a question.
will where in any way be an "PVE" server for rust in near future - im not an arms player in the way the server is at now. ( dont like the way kos/base raiding at the moment )

Remember that the game is in alpha. Right now, you are testing the game engine. Fairness is not nearly as important as making sure the game works properly. There is only one server. Making two servers would be probably more pain than it's worth at the moment.
People should probably ease up on killing on sight, but that's a case of shitty alpha testers that need to be weeded out.

someone explain the fun/joy of a pve server to me
if its just to survive.. then avoid radiation zones.
if its to build, no challenge only time. atleast minecraft has npc's to stop u and pvp
if its to kill zombies.. its super easy and they are not really a threat?
what pve aspects are so... intriguing
It becomes too easy and boring without other players.
Have you ever played DayZ on an empty server?
When the game is released you will probably have a different view on this.
And I am [I]sure[/I] that there will be a plethora of modded servers post-release, there will be PvE servers.

it's a pvp game. not "pvp but also pve if you don't like pvp", it's pvp. don't like players? hide from them. don't like being raided? get better at the game and fight back. don't kill being killed on sight? don't let enemies see you.
I'm sure there will be PvE servers eventually but only when players are able to host their own servers. Who knows, maybe the PvE aspect gets alot better during the development.
