I keep getting an error over and over again when I check the console, something like rendertexture create failed: format not supported. It spams itself into the console over and over again, just fills it. I also have massive framerate problems on low settings, which could be my bad computer, but I suspect it's got something to do with the error.

I have seen this as well. However I don't have any performance issues. I run it on fantastic 1080p.
Hmmm. I also had a really big problem with internet lag, could that be caused by the texture error or can I just not worry about it?

Well if it's internet lag then it may be your connection. Are you wireless? Plus I have heard this game is in debug mode...which is going to make it run hard. I have a beastly computer so I rarely see any issues. People with less performance computers however probably will run more hard which will cause frame rate issues. Also large structures in the world when they load in could also decrease performance.
