This is why I don't understand the people who complain about stream snipers. Fucking deal with it, you're STREAMING A VIDEOGAME. What do they really expect? Everyone to be nice and hunky-dory? Put a delay on the video or something or don't stream at all if it's such a big problem.
To me Rust's started feeling like a job, especially with all the drama recently. I'm not in to that.
I will agree that there seems to be a lack of good content since the recent updates. I think the ban wave showed that alot of "testers" lost interest and stopped playing so I'm sure some youtubers were the same way.
well people kinda got bored of it, i guess the community is getting smaller and smaller due to lack of KEYS (and yes, i don't have it, unfortunately, wish i could get it)

I don't think many people can actually say whether or not there's not enough keys in circulation as to be honest if anymore people where to get keys and join the single server it would be overrun with structures like it already is becoming. Maybe when more servers are implemented then keys will most likely be handed out.

It's not due to the lack of keys, it's because most of the people who got those keys failed to realize they were getting a key to test a game, not play and enjoy it as a finished product.

Well, for us Brit's it's currently the summer, a time of getting out and enjoying the little sunshine we have. Unfortunately people can't devote their lives 24/7 to a game which is in testing due to certain reasons. For example, My computer has recently decided to run like shit on all games and I've came to the decision I need to make a new one, and with moving house and going on holiday I wont be testing as much, so to all the people on the forums begging for inactive members to have the accounts deleted and often make threads involving some of these words or phrases, 'GIMME A KEY AS I can be more active then other people are and they need to realize this game is in alpha and you can't just play it and then leave it', and if this is you then this message is something you have to consider.
I say it isn't really a bad thing. More Rust related stuff on Youtube attracts more people who think they get a game key for just joining the forums.
Yeah, it was funny for a while watching how desperate some people were to get access to a concept of a game. But at some point, either after the 3rd or 4th person who claimed to have "game reviewer" credentials posted a begging thread or that guy with the forum name that "conveniently" matched an account that had its log in info posted claiming it was theirs, it started to get old.
Been said already, but things will probably pick up again when they decide its time for public access or whatever they have planned.
To be honest i have reduced my stream h4ch3tfour. As every time we streamed we got raided or stream sniped within a hour of going live.
But now we have a new base build i will be live again all day tomorrow

I used to stream it a lot but currently just not enough people play so it's very boring. Once they start selling keys and new people can get in I'm sure plenty of medium size streamers/youtubers will return.
if i were given a key i would hella make videos :D however streaming not so sure about lol
