Well since there is a huge waiting line for keys to play Rust Alpha i was searching for similar games to pass the time and i found this one which is also a mix of Dayz+Minecraft...Open World Multiplayer Game where Zombies usually attack on huge hordes and you need to build and fortify your base because Zombies and Players can break through Doors / Windows / Walls...you also need to gather materials for crafting, gather food and drink , etc...

The game is also in the Alpha Stage but you can pre-buy it already for a promocional price...
So my questions are from the vídeos what do you guys think about this game? How is it compared to Rust? Which will be better? Which will be more affordable? Is it worth buying this game over Rust?

Rust certainly looks better, this game seems rather plain. I do like the animation of the zombies however.

Well the graphics look better on Rust thats for sure...7 Days to Die still have some Minecraft look to it but the building/crafting and the zombies look better on 7 Days to Die im my opinion...but then again both games are still in Alpha and both will surely improve the graphics later on...

Minecraft looked like an ever bigger anus and still had tons of players...
7 Days to Die is actually a decent game, don't get me wrong though. This is a vector based game so you can actually destroy practically everything. The game is singleplayer only for now so [B][I][U]don't[/U][/I][/B] compare it to rust [SUB][SUB][SUB][SUB]yet[/SUB][/SUB][/SUB][/SUB]. You also cannot compare something without playing it yourself.

this actually looks pretty fun, more fleshed out than rust in it's current state and combines war/dayz and minecraft together nicely. the terrain looks a bit weird because its blocky yet has a bunch of detailed models in it but there seems to be a sort of cartoony style

the difference being you don't make a cinematic trailer for a pre alpha, alpha trailers showcase the game and its features. if it's a good trailer, then it should enable you to compare it to other games.

Official response from a Staff Member:
There will be co-op/multiplayer in big numbers. However I can't give you an exact number on how many players can be on a single server yet as there's still a lot of testing and optimization going on plus it's a little difficult to estimate due to a lot of varied hardware as you can imagine. There wont be any multiplayer on the Pre-Alpha but yes there will multiplayer on the Alpha Version

Rust had Gold Membership you could buy...
It does look fun, I like the different environments.
hopefully when rust gets more stuff (furniture etc...) it'll be better.
In my opinion 7 days to die is better than rust at the moment, but rust has more potential so rust is going to be better than 7 days to die lategame

I think its to early to say that...at the moment i will give it 50% / 50% to both games
I was almost excited about this, but then I realized I have to wait until the end of this month to actually play it. Still pre-ordered it though and I'll still buy Rust once Garry gets around to offering a paid option.

I have looked but Rust is Alpha and 7D2D is Pre-Alpha...a lot of things will change until the final product on both so anything can still happen...both can still change dramatically...

Yep they have solo, Co-OP (you can host a session for like 4 players) and multiplayer (big ass server with lots of players similar to DayZ)
The Pre-Alpha version will have Solo and Co-OP and the Alpha Version will have Multiplayer
