I've read that Garry has been working on the transition to Steam. This got me thinking, what if there was some sort of bonus or incentive for people who Alpha test and Beta test. Possibly something like the allowance of coloured usernames, or some other way of people who bought in the early stages standing out a little from other players. After all, many people paid hundreds of dollars to get into the Alpha and others spend a lot of their time reporting bugs and suggesting improvements to help the development of the game. Does anyone else think that this should be commended in some way or another?

The game isn't free. Unless you mean before the auction was set up and people could get straight into the game by simply making an account. I read somewhere that these types of accounts are likely to not receive a steam copy of the game or the full release.

As far as the rewards go, i think there should be something, especially for those who bought the game at what may be a higher price then the actual game will be released commercially at. What that should be i am unsure.

Lol I would think the different color name or whatever indicator would make you a bigger target for other players :) I mean I would personally be more eager to kill such a player in game. Would add a bit of extra satisfaction to the kill knowing you took down a vet. Especially if I was one of those envious players who didn't get into the alpha.

If the word of a stranger matters to you, I promise that I didn't make that up. I see the doubt in me finding it from PsiSyndicate, but I read alot of people threads on various sites about this game and what others think of it. It's very likely that this was where I found the information, whether it's reliable or not.

I would have the feature(s) be applied by the choice of the tester, it might make things more interesting in-game if this did happen though.
Alpha testers get 9 inch you know what when the game is fully released.

While we are at it, lets give it a special tea bag emote that causes a dead player to respawn with an opaque glowing mushroom stamp silhouette. To let them all know they just got schooled by a vet.

Wouldn't hurt with a Steam badge or something if that's possible, but otherwise it might be hard to actually do it.
With the amount of money everyone is funneling into Garry's pocket the least he could do is give us a radioactive penis that glows in the dark and can be used as a weapon.
it should not be for every one that has the game as of now. it should be for thoose who registered when it was open and when garry was handing out keys. not the new guys that buys keys, but thais just my opinion ^^

Exactly what I had in mind. Most people arrived here during the hype of PSISyndicate and then it calmed down and once again when Frankie uploaded a video COD kiddies came running on in with their Mum's credit card in-hand...

I have been looking for a good open-world zombie survival game for literally YEARS, and I stumbled across this on one of my google searches. Screw Frankie and Syndicate and all those guys, I just wanted to play a game like the one I had in mind.
Also, colored names would be nice. I like pretty colors
