Hey yall, I noticed that when I use the in game VOIP, no one can hear me. Some people tell me that my voice sound mumbled and others have said that I'm way to quiet. I've tried talking close to the mic, far away from the mic, and plain shouting into the mic. The results are all the same. However, TeamSpeak works just fine with me and even Steam voice chat works normally. I come across loud and clear. Does anyone else have the same issue? I've heard people talk in game and the results are mixed. Some people sound perfectly clear but some sound like they are talking under water. Anyway, would appreciate any input/insights on this. Thanks!

I get the same. My mic works great in everything else, but in Rust people tell me my mic is real hard to hear.
alpha
I've literally came across 4 or 5 posts now where all you say is alpha.
Ok cool, so it happens to other peeps too. Do you know if they plan on tweaking the functionality so that it works better? It may not be super high on the priority list but I think it is the one thing that helps build a more cohesive community in game. Without a good VOIP, I would definitely KoS more often than not. Side comment, this game is extremely stable for an alpha, really really impressed so far. I know a lot more work needs to go into it but stability is the one thing that keeps us gamers sane.
Yeah, I'm hoping for volume slider or something to be put in the options but I don't think they've said anything officially about it.
