Hello Facepunch staff/players
i am wondering if LAN (Local Area Network) or Singleplayer will ever come to rust single player meaning not campaign like call of duty but like just by yourself.
some of you are probably wondering what the fuck dude this is pointless!, No because some people have internet but probably not the best to play on servers as i have ok internet i always get rubberbanded caused by lagg issues.
and LAN meaning if your freind sleeps over and he/she has rust you can host a LAN Server to screw around and build stuff
I personally would love this feature hopfully Garry would add it

'Me and my friends don't have the money, we want a LAN option so we can download Hamachi and play a pirated version of Rust 'online'!'
Right?
If Rust ever allows everyone to set their own private server up (I don't know if the devs have decided), it's not going to be for a while, so get used to playing online for now.
Single player is not bad idea, we need it to do some building tests with inv.giveplayer =)
yes. i mean like local NOT setting up a free server! hell no i mean just LAN so just you and your freinds can play ...

i mean like you have to buy the game!
Then you click singleplayer or LAN click start server and it will only work in your local area ...
