Will there ever be singelplayer or co-op or server hosting cuz it's hard to survive when p12 with hatchet kills u everytime you get wood

No, there will never be single player, server hosting has been hinted but let's just hope it never happens. Quit complaining and get better, natural selection is working, I see.

single player would be okay when the full game is going to be out for EXTREAMLY new players who don't know what there doing.

this is a multiplayer only game as far as i know...there wont be any addition of single player it would be too boring

Your assuming this ALPHA game will not change at all, the point of asking about a single player or co-op option, is assuming the pve aspect of the game would be improved obviously. Something which i assume also will happen even if it remains as is, otherwise whats the point in having all the other dressing on what would be simply a CoD game with a slight sideline?

the only thing you can do in single player is hatched wood all day.

How about a singleplayer tutorial that kicks you into an official server upon ending it? New players wouldn't have that much of an issue then, would they? (I mean really basic shit, like "HATCHET THE WOOD AND SHIT" and "COOK YOUR MEAT BECAUSE THAT SHIT WILL HURT YOU OTHERWISE" etc.)

sounds just like runescape in a way with their tutorial island

Maybe there will be a offline tutorial or something later in the games development

I don't really see any reason to add a single player option in to the game. The entire concept of the game is based around surviving in a hostile world inhabited by AI and other players. If you remove the multiplayer aspect of the game(Which is the biggest threat in the game) you might as well just go play Garry's Mod Sandbox mode and build. I would rather have Garry and the rest of the team focus on making a great hardcore survival game instead of focusing on some half assed single player version to cater to all the carebears.

You can always buy a key over at [url]www.playrust.com/buy[/url] (Currently the shop is down) It's too early to tell if the game will have some sort of public stress test towards the end of beta. As far as I know you have three options. Buy the Rust Key, Try to luck out and get one for free or wait.
