[SPREADSHEET] "Will it Run?" For sharing your computer specs ONLY (and viewing others)
30 replies, posted
I have uploaded the spreadsheets to Google Drive for easier sharing, and allowing comments if comments are needed. I have spent a good bit of time on this spreadsheet, to allow people to compare their specs to these, to be able to see what they can expect from their set up.
All of this data is found HERE. If you have questions on if you can run it, post there, not here.
If you wan't your specifications added to this chart, please use the below format, including all of the information you can. (post it in this thread, bold not required, but helpful)
PLEASE NOTE: If you already posted on jonnymad's thread (the one above) please DO NOT post again here, as I have added all of them from his thread. Thanks!
USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BUY ALL THE STUFF LISTED AS WORKING, AND IT DOESN'T WORK, AS RUST DOES BECOME INCOMPATIBLE WITH SOME PC'S
How can I find my GPU and drive?
If you are on Windows, Start -> Run -> Type "dxdiag" -> Press Enter
Then click on Display. Drive is just how much storage you have, which can be found by clicking computer in the Start menu.

Hello. I would like some advice, here are the specs of my laptop:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
CPU:Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
GPU: Radeon (TM) HD 7690M XT
RAM: 6 GB DDR3 RAM
DRIVE: 700GB HDD
Res: 1366 x 768
I would like to know if i could run rust at normal fps (35+), and if i can with what settings?
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
CPU: Intel Celeron B820 1.7 GHz
GPU: Intel HD Graphics
RAM: 4 GB
DRIVE: 320 GB
FPS: 10-15
I know my computer is very low end, I just hope I can help other people with crap computers figure if they can run Rust or not.
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
CPU: AMD FX 8320 @ 4,2 Ghz
GPU: NVidia GTX 660 Ti 2GB
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 @ 1866mhz
DRIVE: 2TB HDD
FPS: ~50 FPS
thats 1920x1080 and max settings
Nice work on the chart, you did what I never got around todoing.
OS: windows 8.1
CPU: bay trail
GPU: bay trail
RAM: 2gb
DRIVE: micro sd class 10
FPS: playable maybe 30.
asus t100.
OS: w7 64 ultimate
CPU: pentium g 2020
GPU: sapphire 7870 xt
RAM: 8gb ddr3 1333mhz
DRIVE: western digital caviar blue 500gb
FPS: 40-55 on maxed out
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Eng SP1
CPU: i7-950 3.06GHz+ (turbo)
GPU: Gigabyte nVidia GTX-460 OC Single
RAM: 16GB
DRIVE: WD Green 3TB SATA-III
FPS: 80 FPS
Quality: All maxed, full HD, windowed mode
Grass.on: false
On a side node, I get 80 fps only when I stream my gameplay and watch my stream on my 2nd screen. If I do not stream or shut down all other programs that could eat my CPU, it's much more.
This is pretty good idea with the chart to show performance by hardware..however its missing key parts imo.. like resolution and graphical detail settings. so people could know what to expect.
OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: Amd Radeon A10-4600M 2.3ghz-3.2ghz
GPU: Amd Radeon 7660g+&7670m Dual Graphics
RAM: 6gigs
Quality: Simple, right in the middle.
FPS: 40
Grass.on false

Well, I have a very similar card (amd radeon 7670m) and I can run rust at simple at 40 fps.
Considering you have a better cpu and gpu, Id say max at about 25-30 and Medium at like 60.
