• any way to remove pillars?

I've read conflicting reports concerning this, but haven't had the opportunity to try yet. Pretty much this is what happened: Me and my buddy started building our base in the hills, first ever base and we could have done better lol. so last night we decide to start fresh and build a new one. we found a good flat spot close enough to resources to sustain us and started laying foundation, we ran out of supplies and went to farm more when we returned some dickhead had laid several pillars on our foundation and screwed up the whole design, we're about 15 foundations in at this point. moving forward we plan to not lay foundation until we have enough supplies to lay all of the foundation and the walls as well, but as for this base, is all hope lost? should we abandon and build a new one, or is there any way at all to eliminate the pillars? also, who the fuck does that? i mean i could understand stealing the base and putting up your own walls, but wasting resources laying down pillars just to be an ass hole, seems very counter productive to me.
I believe you have to wait for decay for the pillars to be removed. On a side note -- welcome to Rust. There are a lot of D-bags on the servers.
or with admin help :/
lol i know there is ive been playing for a while i just cant believe how fast these pricks got in there we went away to farm for maybe 10 mins and came back to that. so disappointing, and again i just don't get it.
with a modded server there is a plugin called remover tool which basically allows you to remove any object you have placed down.

My buddies and I started our own server, mainly because of this and well that fact everyone on the public servers feel the need to have to kill anything that moves on sight. lol.

just as another bit of advice. If they found your home that fast, move. You dont want to be found. dont try to find a nice plot of land with a good view and plenty of backyard. Find one thats so far off the path in the opposite direction of anything that no one will ever find it. You will be glad you did. If you dont, see you in a week crying about your base being raided every other day. Put as for the pillars you are stuck with them. Given my previous statement, you should just move anyway
That's one of the primary reasons I moved to a new server - I hate when a misplaced pillar screws up hours of work. The server I'm on now allows you to remove things you've built in your own fort by hitting it twice with a pickaxe. You might want to check them out. net.connect Rust.WeWinEveryday.com:28115 Give me a shout if you come - I could use some allies!
You can just start your 1st floor higher. put pillars everywhere on your fondations then cellings on top and you can build your house as nothing happened !You can put a wooden ramp to go in your house too :)

rust essentials has the remover tool, usually admin has it...but he can allow anyone to use it if he wishes
