VAC Disable - Rust - Facepunch Forum

What is the Command to turn off VAC its not relevant why, all i need is the command

that's impossible. At least assuming you are talking about when you are joining servers. And if you intend to "turn it off" when joining, that's a no no

people who assume they could just "Turn vac off" and then cheat need to stop snorting lead paint (not pointing at anyone, general statement) but if you must know -insecure in launch options (cheating with friends is pretty fun in nonvac servers in games, just a whole bunch of people speeding)

Of course, disabling or blocking VAC is, in itself, a warning sign to VAC. It indicates to Valve that you're up to something.

It's how I can reasonably test weapons with unlimited ammo. "-insecure" just means you're able to run 3rd party plugins among other things at the cost of not being able to join a VAC protected server.

I'm talking disabling VAC client-side, wauterboi. A server running -insecure is not suspicious to Valve at all.

You can't disable VAC client-side and do any harm to any VAC-protected servers because you cannot connect.

So its really sketchy. But then again the people reporting that are sketchy too.

Check me out im not a cheater, i run an international orginisation i cant afford to cheat, im on steam, BladeRavinger, its right there. i have my own server and i want to de-activate the vac. i already know of the Programs that Bypass VAC so you can join even if VAC banned if i was cheating i wouldnt be sat on facepunches forum how to bypass security, i have my own reasons for removing server-side VAC, and its not importent why. i just need the line to add to the config

Nobody's fault but your own. I mean really, "its not relevant why," are you serious? That's like wearing a ski mask into a bank with no intention other than to open a savings account.

be more clear about what you want and why, and maybe people will help you out. but "What is the Command to turn off VAC its not relevant why, all i need is the command" sounds so much like a little squeaker trying to hack that its amazing you have only received these comments. to the point that i genuinely thought "no one can be that stupid, surely he is messing with us". so if you are not trying to disable VAC so you can "hack safely" as a client, what ARE you trying to do?

Could you not detect other hackers by hacking yourself? Get ESP and that crap, make a non-VAC-server, aut-ban everybody with VAC bans on steam profile for the last year and then administrate your server using hacks. I have honestly already thought about this, because Rust offers so little administrating capabilities. You can't do shit as an admin that'd help you finding hackers (like spectating and such, oh man if there only was spectating it would make the job soooo much easier). So I thought maybe if I had the hacks, I could see who's running with speedhack, who's autolooting the airdrop crates and who jumps super high. Also I could inspect other players items so see whether they play legit or not. Maybe one day I will try it, just so I know if it would have helped.

Maybe one day I will try it, just so I know if it would have helped.[/QUOTE] Much easier to make a mature cheater that writes their own private cheats an admin on your server so that they can administrate and run the risk of getting VAC banned :) Alternatively, modify your server with certain things like anticheats and loot logging (e.g: Azu AC and Clip-clap) *Puts on ski mask* - "I'd like to open a savings account"
