Hi! a few days ago my rust worked fine and i could access all the servers, but recently no server have shown up on the list. I update the list but after bout 3 mins when it is done updating still no servers!
Anyone know what this depends on? how can i fix it? Thank you.
Are you using the Dev branch? It so, switch off of it
try to exit steam all together then restart it
sounds like you didnt get the latest update
ok i will try to, but i have before and it havent worked, actually it was just after the update that theese problems started ocuring

I had this issue for a while because I had pinned Rust to my startbar which caused a lot of issues. So I uninstalled rust and just open it via steam and I dont have issues anymore.
Try searching, you're not the only one having this problem.

I do not have it on my start bar and i open it on steam all the time but thanks anyways!
are you able to net.connect to servers? Open your console (f1) and try to net.connect and let me know if you get a steam connection error.

nope, i tried it multiple times on difrent servers and it just says: can't connect
no error message what so ever?
it just pops up a small sign in rust (not from steam) :Connection failed
Hmm usually the only reason servers wont update is because the client is out of date or Rust is failing to connect to steam, you can try to verify the game cache integrity.

and how would i do that? also, suddenly i get theese messenges in the console saying:Skipped rendernig frame becouse GfxDevice is in invalid state (device lost)
Those skipped rendering messages are just because you've alt-tabbed, nothing to be concerned about there.
