Really kind of hoping that the C4 implementation in New RUST can help break up the monotony of mining rock/metal/sulfur resources from boulders. Even with the new (op) hatchet...gathering resources becomes pretty mind-numbing. Believe me, I wouldn't change the rate in which you can gather by hand (otherwise I'd just join a modded server). But it would be great to have this option, even for deforestation, down the road. Of course, C4 would still maintain it's current Legacy status of king of all raid tools as well.

If the salvaged axe can take down a regular tree in 5 hits, and snow tree in 10 then they should do the same for pickaxes. Maybe 7-8 hits for a boulder with a pickaxe?
You'd have to be one rich mofo to be using C4 on trees and rocks.
