Disconnect back to lobby, but only on my pc!?!?

Hi all,

I've been having this problem for ages. When I join I last for 20-30 seconds and then I'm dropped back to the lobby.

So today I tried installing steam and rust onto my laptop, surprisingly it worked and I stayed connected! So I guess that kind of rules out my router being an issue and points to something to do with my PC being the problem. If anyone can give me a shred of hope as to why this is happening I would REALLY appreciate it. Honestly I'm almost at the point of formatting my PC and seeing if it fixes it :0

Try this:

Control Panel > Users

Create a separate administrator user account. Then log out of your account and into it, and go straight into Steam and start Rust from the Play button.

See what happens.

I tried and I have the same result. Can not get weapons out. Cant run where I want to go. Disconnect after 20-30 seconds. :(

What does your F1 console say?

F1 console simply says connection timed out, nothing more.

Is your PC on a wired or wireless connection?

Are you running any security software on the desktop right now?

I run MSE on both my laptop and my PC. My laptop if on wifi and my pc is hard wired. Makes literally no sense what so ever.
