sometimes when i shoot an arrow at a bear, the arrow just goes right through him dealing no damage
does this also happen to you ( wolves too sometimes )
Not to me byt i read about it in other posts. So its probably a glitch. Is it to red bears or regulars?

Both. It happens sometimes to me. I'm just not sure if I simply missed by half an inch or if it's a bug.
But it's kinda hard to miss a bear righ in front of you, even with a bow.
I can confirm that. Something seems to be wrong with the hitboxes. It was a greater issue with the zombies and got me and my teammates killed a few times. It seems to be happening if the bear/wolf runs towards you and you shoot straight at his head. Also i noticed sometimes you cannot farm the dead bodies of the animals, from no position. You need to get away from the body and then return to make the hatchet hit.

This too.
This usually happens with lag, just wait for the bear to start moving before you shoot it.

this happens to me a lot, i think its only when they run to eat your face, i've seen bears go underground terrain( this was creepy as hell, because the bear just rised above ground)

my ping is about 70 my internet is good( i actually never had lag( unless server lag), so that is not the cause for me

i can only farm the wolves if i aim at their legs and not the body

This happens in every single animal, even zombies had this bug.
It happens sometimes to me too. Shot at close range. Arrow flew through the Bear
This happens to me most frequently at closer ranges when I fire for a direct, straight-on headshot. It will fly right through the bear's nose and hit the ground behind him. Also happens with wolves.
Can confirm it here too.
For me it mostly happens when they run straight in front of me and I shoot the arrow directly in their head...which then goes throug them.
It happen to me all the time... I'm lazy so most of the time I shoot the last arrow at the last second so the creature will fall right in front of me... I hate when the arrow fly through them.
And sometime I saw the blod splash of the arrow hit... but no damage occur :-/
