Well when they removed the web client I had no option but to go to the buggy steam client and try my luck. After multiple crashing and problems I go on to my old server and have nothing on me and no longer have any of the crafting recipes I found. The problem is I am obviously not on the same character even though I used the same account that I play with to get my steam key. I also have a friend who didnt have this problem, he can open all the doors he placed the day before in the web browser and he has everything he used to have. Is there anything that can be done to solve this problem so I can at least have my crafting recipes back.
Switching from the Web Player to the Steam version made it so you don't have your character anymore, which eliminates everything you have researched. Your friend shouldn't have anything on him through the switch to Steam, if so, it's a glitch. Plus, the servers were wiped, which means you don't have to worry about accessing your old doors.
actually the servers were not wiped as my base is still where it was. I find this very annoying since I put many hours in the day before and lost it all

but my base is still there It is the same building. but the base we had before that isnt
