With new version my fps dropped from 100 to 50 ! It is almost unplayable!
Edit : It seems fps is locked to 60 fps max. I am used to 100+
Please fix it asap :)
Edit : it seems i solwed it. I enabled that virtual o procedural texturing - second from the bottom up in F2 ssttings. Fps rockered from 40 up to 150 :)
50 FPS is almost unplayable? Yeah, okay.
And i have to deal with my old trusty 20 fps
I may be wrong, but the human eye can only see 60 fps (again I may be wrong). So even if its locked at 60 you wont be getting any less enjoyment from your game.
60fps for rust is fine.
i play at 12-20 fps without any problems. this just feels like first world problems to me, even if it is supposedly a drop of 50fps;)
I actually seem to get BETTER FPS altho I noticed that turning on the fps.graph drops about 10 FPS.

be happy, i can't even run it in my current 32 bit computer ..;
your eyes can barely notice the difference between 50-100 fps, it's almost the same, 100fps just makes it look a bit smoother when you rotate the camera but that's it.
yeah got FPS problem too since the new update, before i had 40-50, and 109 when no big buildings where close, now i have 14-20 no matter if anything is near or not :(
After playing for a few hours today, I'm starting to notice frames steadily get worse while inside my house. When I first spawn in my house Im getting 20-30 FPS, over the course of maybe an hour it drops to a steady 9 FPS. However, when walking around outside my frames go back up to 30-40 and feel fine.
I got SOME lag from buildings before, but it seems like theres some decay over time as well as the initial lag when near them.
Rust frames play so good for me my eyeball holes cant not even see it!
EDIT: Seriously though, I do get a lot of lag inside and outside of buildings. Worse I think inside. My settings are all pretty low too, and my computer is high-average.
Heh, turning fps.graph to 1 causes me to drop 50fps. Set it back to 0 and it goes back up to 100. Odd.
If you experience fps drop try to enable procedural virtual texturing. It did wonders for me. Fps from 40 to 150. A great difference.

Let me know the servers you play so I can avoid your massive FPS. I am lucky to get between 20-30 fps. I just accept the lag as a form of battle penalty for being the Meany with a spear.
