• Linux Mouse Polling

Hello, I am using Ubuntu 14.04 and a Radeon HD 6950. Before the patch the game froze every time the mouse was moved too fast and it could only be "unfrozen" by double "Alt-Tab". After the patch the game does not freeze anymore, but the Mouse just stops at faster movements. Since this speed theshold is VERY low, Rust is unplayable :( Any suggestions? Thanks
I've gotten this for awhile in KDE. xfce was playable however, for some reason.
i am using xfce and if i move my mouse too fast nothing happens. have to move my mouse slow to look around. i did notice turning off graphics options helped.
start the game in windowed mode.. once in the game menu hit alt+space and select "Fullscreen" - that fixes it mostly ...works with xfwm the mouse movement is still an issue under linux.. its unity bug..and is somewhat fixed in unity 4.5 i think and complete fix will come in unity 5.0

Like after about ten minutes I would have to be alt tabbing out and in every 10 seconds, made it completely unplayable. I tried it again a couple of weeks ago and it sitll had the same bug.
This is a Unity bug: http://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/screen-dot-lockcursor-under-linux-breaks-input-dot-getaxis Once they update to the latest version of the Unity engine it should be fixed. If you use a normal mouse ( ie, non-gaming mouse ) or set your mouse polling rate to 125hz it won't happen any longer on older versions of Unity. I hope this helps. I used razerd to set my DeathAddr to 125Hz and I stopped having the issues.
