Desync (Ghost) on Voice Chat Due to Netgear Router

Hello, thanks you tanking a look to see if you can help me. Hopefully you can.

I have this problem where when I'm playing Rust and press "V," I desync. I can move from my perspective, but other people see me in the same spot. I see them hitting air and I'm dying. While I'm desynced I can't interact or switch weapons.

I figured out that if I wire my computer directly to my modem and skip over my Netgear (WNDR3400v2) router. This is extremely inconvenient, however, because the rest of my family looses internet. I have tried seemingly all the settings on my router (DMZ, SIP ALG, etc) and even disabled all hack protection (renabled, malicious people :P), but none of this worked. The problem persisted.

Is there ANY setting on my router that could fix this? Does everyone else experience this issue with a Netgear router or my specific model of router?

If you have ANY ideas, please suggest them. I am NOT buying a new router (mine works fine with every other game) that will be more expensive than the game itself.
