• Player name tags on house / doors and skull system

Have done some reading on upcoming updates for Rust including house 'ownership'. This might already have been discussed, but I decided it might be good to bring up. Some people want their houses to be protected while they're offline, but others want to enforce griefing. I think what will make people think twice before raiding a house is seeing who owns it, so they know with whom they're messing or if they found their intentional target. This also works the other way around, because people will want to keep their reputation as their names are shown on their houses or doors. People will be less likely to troll or random around and be more targeted and accurate in things. A follow up for this one could be something like a skull system, which indicates how many players someone has killed on a daily and weekly basis. Players that kill another player without a 'skull' will be marked for PK for x amount of time and if they continue killing 'innocent' players it adds to the gravity of their skull color, the indicator of how 'bad' they are. Then there could also be rewards for players killing PKs... this could however be abused. The last however does not at all add to the realism of the game, and might again take away something of the freedom. But then there can be a difference between PvP systems: normal PvP(with skulls) and enforced PvP(no skulls). Please let me know what you think.
It's an interesting concept, but it has some issues. First off, Garry doesn't want to implement any systems that may affect the way someone plays, which I think you're skull system contradicts with, even though it's a pretty cool idea. And the door names thing seems pretty useless to me. I think finding a base and not knowing what could be lurking inside is what makes it fun. The point you brought up about reputation is pretty cool, though. I think adding some sort of sign or something would be awesome, because people who do want to have their names on the door, can just have a sign next to it. You could also use it to give pointers to passers-by by leaving them an idea of who owns the base and if it's a dangerous area or not. They could also be useful for leaving little messages to friends who are offline and you can message for whatever reason. Cool ideas, but I don't think they fit rust very well.
