I know that there will eventually be an official Linux client, but in the meantime I'm wondering if anyone has had success running Rust in Wine? Now that the game is in Steam, and using a native client, it's more feasible to get it running as we're no longer constrained by the web player. For instance, I was able to get it to run just fine, but the server browser is blank. :(
Anyone have any luck with this yet?
last time i tried it worked fine and the server browser was there also.. only issue was the crash when alt+tabed out of the game meanwhile.
havent really tested much now, probably new patches.
im waiting for native version mostly... hate to relog to other steam because of one game
