My steam account is [url]http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198229935984/[/url] and just about 10-15 minutes ago or so I got kicked from my game and EAC banned. Now I am wondering what exact reason for and if you could provide reasoning backed with proof that would be great. I hacked on CS:GO no lie about that and got VAC banned for it. Whatever not the point here. I would like to know why I got banned on Rust when i never hacked on it or even ever been accused of hacking. I appreciate it and I understand you are all busy. Whenever you get a chance to respond, thank you.
You're not EAC banned. If you were, then your account would show a notice about being game banned directly on your profile (which it doesn't).

I got a notice when I got logged out saying I was EAC banned. I understand it's not showing it but then why would that message pop up? Thanks for checking it out though.

Which also says, you prop cheated again OR still got some shit left in your pc from the last time you did cheat,
Which is why you got banned, so. you can do 2 things now
A) go with the way we all know and love, and keep ranting saying you did not cheat unti; EAC drops the hammer or an admin lock this post
B) you leave it at this and format your pc and be a good boy..
Now, you can do it the easy way or the hard way.. The choice is yours..

Not trying to defend the guy, but there isn't even an announcement on Rust's Twitter about their account being banned, nor does their Steam profile bear the notice about being game banned as I pointed out before. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't both of those have changed already if the OP really were EAC banned on the Steam account they linked to?

Haha idc that you saw it. Just wanted to be kind and courteous. But i stand behind that. They gave some numbers and said that there was multiple purchases of [hacks]. A bunch of numbers and a profile doesn't really show any proof. Never have i ever hacked on rust. Sure you might have detected the CS:GO bs but nothing for rust.

No way am i trying to be a asshole either. I am just stating what i was told and what happened to me before. The thread was closed before i could post anything.
You do realize it's EAC that handles the bans, not facepunch, right??

Honestly no idea, i know of some other EAC protected games,
Getting ban doesn't show anything on your profile, i know rust bans show up on profile/twitter but maybe there are bans that do not for some reason, just a though.

I just said EAC thats all.
And you've tried to load the game again and tried joining other servers to see if that also gives you the EAC error, right?
yeah it's weird his profile doesn't say GAME BANNED but he wouldn't be the first to get EAC banned and not have a message go on his profile for it.
