Before you get confused im not talking about players raiding with c4 im talking about players walling off the entrance of someones home or "trapping them" sometimes the objects that players are using to do this are industratable ruining your entire build permenatly

Mainly because at the moment the way the building system works is that some guy with literally nothing can come up to your base when its incomplete and all your stuff off or if a stairwell leads to your room they block it with a ceiling

The only solution I can come up with off the top of my head is that the devs make it so any objects (Pillars, walls cielings etc) placed onto a foundation you own should be desctructable by whomever owns that foundation

I like this idea, however there will never be anything that can be done about someone completely encircling your base with spike walls.

I know theres no way to completely fix this issue and I understand that but I am hoping this comes soon

I generally solve this buy building on terrain that doesn't allow someone to place another foundation next to my front door foundation.

Yah but what happened to me is someone got into my base (it wasn't complete yet) Then put a ceiling blocking off my stairwell so I couldn't get out so I had to suicide and startover

Thats why I never leave the server until each section of my build is complete. Now placing items in front of your door is not something you can avoid if someone wants to do it. That is messed up but funny too.
