I am fully aware that garry does not "officially" support mods, such as Oxide, Manga or Essentials. However, I'm wondering if and when these mods are updated to support the experimental branch, will the mods be publicly released or still limited to GSP as they currently are? I know I am likely a bit early on this.. But I'm wondering the community's thoughts as the experimental branch is now public. Please note, this is not a request for the mods to be updated for the experimental branch. Thanks.
The mods are public and you can download them on their official webpage. As a Magma developer, I have my own "testing" server stored on my pc where I can test as I programm. Magma MOD : http://gomagma.org/community/index.php?resources/magma-server-mod.2/ My plugins : http://gomagma.org/community/index.php?resources/authors/snake.8095/

This is the same issue I've always had with the legacy server files being limited to Game Server Providers only. How does the "Average Joe" setup a local test server legally? I'm hoping this conundrum will change with the experimental files being open to the public

Yes, you are correct anybody can download Magma mod, forgot. However, this is not the case for Oxide... And you still need the legacy server files themselves in order to test locally :/ TLDR - hope this changes in the future, for the experimental branch.

I can't speak for the others, but I will be releasing my files publicly like I always do. I already have a mod for experimental laid out, but since the branch is updating so much and lacks some amount of playable content, I've been holding back on releasing it. If it really is wanted, I can throw it out there and continue updating it, though.
