Hello! alright, im so tired of this, this is basically why im making this thread because i have not succeeded to find ANY solution to this problem.
Alright, so as you can probably tell from the title of this thread i have been getting constantly lag spikes ingame of Rust. There is absolutely no problems with my FPS, my FPS is about 60ish all the time and the game runs perfectly fine, but i get these lagspikes every 15 seconds, this makes me really frustrated since i cant engage for an example a fight since i know im gonna freezelag soon enough.
I thought i'd post my PC Specs since its one of the things you think about when someone is saying they have problems with lag spikes.
"Freddys PC":
Motherboard: ASUS Z-97K
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.50 GHz
GPU: GTX 970 4G Gaming Version.
Power Supply: 650W
RAM: 16GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE 1600MHz
I really dont think my PC specs is the problem, in my opinion i have a good computer and should be fine with Rust. I have tried several things out to fix this problem.. Here is a list whatve tried;
* Running AntiViruses Scans for my while computer for potential Viruses.
* Running Anti Malware.
* Tried lower settings in Rust.
* Followed several "FPS BOOST GUIDES"
* Tried running rust in DirectX 9
* Running rust as Admin.
* Setting Rust to "high" in prio tab in task manager.
* Tried several times to reinstall Rust.
- Now, i know since im playing on a modded server there might be some lag because of the server, but there is NO one in my clan complaining at lag spikes, maybe some frames dropped here and there but thats about it.
Is there ANYONE out there that have been having this problem? I beg you, please do respond to my thread and give me some tips, im going mad over here. Thanks in advanced guys! / Dize
Not much you can do. If you look at other recent threads about the same thing you will see that others are experiencing issues of the same. Best just ride the wave out as we probably wont get much in the lines of a fix for a couple weeks

But its really wierd since no one else is complaining about it ingame.. Like this is not even possible to play with.
Maybe not in your particular server,however...have you seen the other threads on this forum lately? Take a look, there is a ton of people with this issue
