Server admins, what serverhosting company do you recommend/not recommend?

I started a server a few days ago with HFBServers, on of the cheapest one. My experience have not been great. To sum it up,
When the server is up and running it is a good server, I got people connecting from all over the world with good ping and with no performance issues or disconnects.

But when a problem occur, it takes them to long to get the info out there. They seem to be a small company and their support just cant keep up. It takes to long to get an answer. (When they get time to answer they are very polite and have the right info/solutions.)
I have made 3 support tickets with them in the last 4 days.
(I have added further info on what happend at HFB below.)

So now i feel i wanna switch server provider, what are your experiences from the different providers? And which one do you recommend?

1. It took very long to setup server. The site says a few hours and in very rare cases up to 24 hours, after 29 hours i created a ticket. and got the response several hours after. They were out of servers in the netherlands and were offering me new locations. Some minutes later they sent another mail saying that the server was now being setup in the netherlands.

2. When server was accesible, i could not enter controlpanel. This was because they has some problems with the "Oxide" mode recently added. So they had to remove it from all servers. And shutting down control panel.

3. After the first day everything worked good for 3 days. Then yesterday everyone was disconnected and when i checked the server status it is set to "unknown"
After 12 hours i recieve an answer, the data center in the Netherlands is under ddos attack...they dont know when it will be up again.
It has now been down for 19 Hours with no acces whatsover.
