Weather - Rust - Facepunch Forum

The title pretty much explains it. I'm tired of the sun and the night. I want something new, I want to get chills on my spine when walking on a road surrounded by a thick mist, hearing scary stuff all around me. I want to go out and be zapped to death by lightning (not really). I want to be able to collect water via a (crafted) rain collecting system. Maybe I want irish weather. Leave out the sun from time to time! I'm sure other people would like weather too!

Please read the devblog the staff put out there so you have an idea what is to come. Or just read the forums. Weather has been mentioned to be implemented Soon🔜

I was asking something else and this came up in my mind and I had not seen Garry or anyone else talk about it in their devlogs on playrust.com

I'm sure other people would like weather too![/QUOTE] Late last year i did a post on the weather, i included videos demonstrating various weather effects that can be used in Unity, the videos are decent to watch with many in HD quality, they are all assets you can buy in the Unity store so i don't know how Face Punch is going to do theirs but the videos are great to watch and give you a starting idea how weather may look in Rust [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1436742[/url]
