I've posted about this and no one seems to know the answer, someone please help me. When i open rust I no longer get the Pop-Up Window at the start where i choose Resolution and everything. It just starts the game right up, I want to know why this doesnt come up anymore because it used to. I'm on a Mac and I've uninstalled/reinstalled the game and nothing changed. Please no annoying replies about having a Mac.
I'm on Mac OS and would like to know this as well. For some reason HTML menu doesn't show up on game launch.
Im so on Mac and I'm having the same problem. Today I'm going deep to try and fix this. Mac users have the option to click the box to "not show this again" and well I guess I was dumb enough to click this box haha.
I have multiple things I have to try, and worse to worse I'm sure a factory reset of my Mac WILL fix this problem.
I'll be back by the end of the day
Press on the game from your library and press the "PLAY" button, don't right click steam's icon to launch the game
I am on a Mac. No popup window, and I never get to the start screen. Just a black screen. Only steam has logged in and shown message.
So I cannot play legacy on a new mac with latest update. Please Facepunch try to get this working for us so we can play.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I was able to play by 1) holding Option to get the popup to come up, and 2) setting resolution to highest possible (not quality but # of pixels w x h). It would not work when I kept it on my usual resolution, but when I bumped it up to the highest resolution (W x H), then it suddenly worked. Hopefully everyone on a mac can get it working somehow.
