• easy anti cheat crashes on startup

Hi, I'm having major problems trying to run Rust, and as such I haven't been able to play for months, I've even reinstalled the whole game to try and get it to work, however nothing i have tried seems to be able to work :( When I try to run Rust I instantly get a pop up window telling me that EAC has crashed.... Does anyone know how to fix this?? separate pop up message says "Rust launcher error: GameError - ShellExceute failed with code 5"...
