I did some testing on my local server and found some oddities with the internal/external damage system. The most notable being that C4 and pickaxe/hatchet damage are opposite. So, for example, if I am doing reduced (i.e. external) damage to a stone wall with my pickaxe, I will do full damage with C4. If I then rotate that wall, I will do full pickaxe damage, but reduced C4 damage. This pattern is the same on the armored version, as well as on doors. Foundations and floors seem to be accurate as far as I can tell. I assume this is not intended based on the Devblog wording of "When attacking the outside you’ll do less damage than the attacking the inside".
