People moan and moan about how unbalanced these and other weapons are. So i thought of a few way to maybe get around them to make it more fair for everyone!
The reason i think its unbalanced is because a new spawn can open one chest and know how to make a m4 straight away without even playing! and c4 makes it so you NEED to be on when a airdrop comes or you wont ever get explosives to be able o research them this makes players that cant get on every hour at a HUGE disadvantage to the other players that play a lot or have huge teams! these two ways make it so everybody can get the chance.
Bear with me here,
So 1: put in a maybe some sort of ranking system, this ranking system DOES NOT give you extra damage more speed ect all it does is unlock blue prints you gain exp for zombies players getting resources ect
This would give all players a chance to unlock the more powerful items after playing over time instead of getting lucky ect, i no they probably have thought about ranking system at one point and have said no but i think it could balance it well.
2: you could introduce some sort of challenge system for rare items or even all items, for example (Craft 40 Grenades and Destroy 10 metal doors to unlock C4) or anything to relate to the item.
I just feel there is a lot of ways to make it balanced, i no this game is about exploring so they want players to look around for the blueprints i get that, just things that you can ONLY get from a random airdrop every hour if your first to get there or even online seems unbalanced as once that first team gets in they now are the only people to have it so they can raid everyone and stop people from being able to raid back by taking all of their stuff and once they become that powerful they can almost get every airdrop to prevent other players from getting explosives to take revenge
Firstly, the devs are planning in making modern weapons extremely rare, and probably c4 as well. Also they plan on tweaking researching mechanics to extend gameplay.
i understand that but that dosent fix it, c4 is already rare and explosives are extremely rare also, as you can only get them from airdrops so you have to be lucky to get there like i said in my first post, and it was a idea not a rant, i no what they plan to do but its a vague description they "plan" to.
