Can we get a listing of servers live that are down? (Official servers)
For instance, I can't seem to find US East Coast 3 (Large), is it down? is it bugged? etc.
US Central 4 (stress Test) is not working either.
Almost all the servers are down. You will find a few not down. (like the RP servers.) as some of them I believe contain edited files and data. You will also find hacked servers online still and should not be.
Some servers will be up and going here and there, but nothing solid.
UK1 is working but having issues actually get in it, think it's a flip a coin to get into it
UK2 doesn't work but there was a US server that wasn't working that bad, US central 4? that was about 30min ago? so it must of gone down again
all servers are being affected by the attacks.... the ones not listed have just been taken down or crashed.

That is because they use edited files and shouldn't be. I saw a post floating around earlier that Garry is not interested in chasing every pirated/hacked server because with his updates they will be out of date and lacking the newer features regardless. Point and case, you are better off buying it to keep up to date.
I may have some facts missing out here and there, but the loophole being abused is not easily fixed and has to do with the datacenter Rust uses? Thus they have to wait and work with that company...Either it gets fixed, they write their own coding, or get a new provider.

I'm thinking that even if i own a legit copy i'm better off pirating it and you can't complain about it
1. I will be able to actually play the game!
2. There will probably be less hackers as the official servers have just as many people hacking but don't have an admin, at least on crackers servers there is chance of compensation and hackers will get banned... Maybe it's not the best in the world but official server hackers are not even getting banned yet..
3. I can play with friends that don't own the game
so for them reasons I'm going to just go onto a pirated server while all the servers are down
I don't advocate pirating. Truth is, pirating doesn't hurt a game. Myself I pirate a game before playing it then purchase it if I enjoy it. I did this with Rust and you can see my steam ID under SirRavin (U.B.C.S. Ravin). That is just how some people are and if that is how you wanna go about it, I can't tell you how to play or live your life. Just own up to your mistakes if they come back to bite you in the butt later.
You'll get servers functioning normally for a few minutes, then they lag like mad. Sometimes they appear in the server list, sometimes the server will disappear.
To be honest it's not worth the stress playing at the moment as it's nearly guaranteed you'll get disconnect whilst out in the open with all your good gear lol
Yeh well, who ever disagrees with what i'm doing can just sit in a corner for all i care, I paid for the game so i see no harm in my playing it on a cracker server
Why the hell should someone that has not spent a penny have the right to more than i have? I've paid so i'm playing it, I have a friend that pirates all his games and doesn't care about paying or supporting devs and his having a better time than i am and even for an alpha it's just not on
I was understanding that it's alpha so there will be hackers, bugs or even this whole server issue but i'm not understanding enough to sit here doing nothing while pirates are playing the game while i can't
Tell me what is wrong with that? what is wrong with using a cracker server while i wait for them to fix their servers
