Rust Rage Moments - Rust - Facepunch Forum

I just had a rage moment on Rust. I fell off a mountain and lost a day of collecting stuff, that really pissed me off. I then re collected for at least 2 hours of gametime and fell off another mountain. I would like to hear all of your Rusty Rage moments if you have any.

You should watch your steps.

I've got so used to it all, even the admin abuse/cheating. I never rage anymore except cursing a few times. The earlier said admin abuse/cheating got me worked up a few times tho.

I lost my very first kevlar pants und explosive charge (both very rare on server) to the beasts, because I felt oh so save and untouchable. Let one bear and two wolves hit you at once and see how untouchable you are... It's my own stupidity and cockiness, but I really hate it. :pwn: I haven't found any kevlar parts again to this day.

I have pretty good control of my temper but I did lose it once. Join a server of a pop ~100. Spawn, get shot within seconds by a group of kevlar guys because I "took resources." Respawn, immediately get shot by guy with P250 in Next Valley. Respawn, get shot by the admin who then taunts me with "U MAD BRO?" in chat when I say, "Really? Was that necessary?" Respawn one final time, get attacked by zombies and instead of helping me, everyone shoots me and then the zombies chasing me. Needless to say, I took a few hours off after that stupid server.

Chatting with one guy who's half naked when another half naked guy walks up holding nothing but a rock. Second guy chats for a minute or so then blam...shot guns both of us to the face. I had full kevlar on. A lot of good it did me. From now on I trust no one.

game crashed while in a Radzone. took forever to get back in, once i did, woke up dead, losing full kevlar, M4 and tons of loot. that sucked.

I got stuck in the stairs going up into radtown where the oil tankards are and I was repeatedly being kicked by the server. Next time I got on I was dead and someone took my items.

The moment when I go I afk in my base and log back in and guys are waiting for me to come back after blowing into my base. Then killing me with my own guns. Then after recovering later that night they raided me with my own c4.

Finally get a huge base with tons of loot. Feeling invincible considering I just destroyed a pack of 5 year olds with sucky mics yelling "OHFUIEAHSADJWAOIDSLJSDANSDKFIA". I hit my friend on accident and he dies. He gets his stuff and we head back to base for the night. He shoots me and I die because "I killed him". Server crashes and my shotgun, boltaction, and p250 despawn and he doesnt care. RAGE!

I don't play RUST all the time, but when I do, I got shot when digging shit, EVERYTIME.

Last 24hr recap of rust. -After a successful raid, on our way back to base, we got swooped down, killed by a hacker and lost everything. -Later that night, going on a revenge raid in a rival base...get counter raided by flying koreans...lost everything again. -Flying Koreans started to build a a full out metal base near my HQ... -Deciding to go troll them by rushing them with a torch blasting "I'm a barbie girl, in a barbie world" in voice chat. -Proceeded to do that with my group for about 30-45 min...had many many lolz. -Wake up this morning to my account being hijacked... Lessons learned...Hackers always win...I give up.

One stack wood planks, tons of weapons, ammo, 3 kevlar suits and other stuff. And all this with 2 C4. Well, he had enough to build a huge fortress. But he just were sitting in a 1x1 wood house. :v:

My rage moment was when the North America 4 server was hacked and a player ran a custom script to kill all players (and sleepers) on the server and destroy all items and crates on the server. After this one, I was officially done with the game for the time being. Let the hackers have at it... I'm out.

Too bad I can't do that right now since I can't even log in to my account anymore. I guess I should go do real life responsibilities like study for an exam or finish my paper.

Played at a server that "RESTARTS" every time it get's pitch black dark night back to midday. However, when that happens, the server rollbacks a few minutes and you lose EVERYTHING you have done or items you have stored EXCEPT for items on your INVENTORY. This server has 80+ people and I got an airdrop. Explosives, C4s, granades and woodplanks: everything I needed. Went back to my hidden shack, put everything in my box and went back for some looting naked with a hatchet. BOOM, server restart, it's day time again and I lost my airdrop. Fucking holy fucking fuck.

It's all rage. No matter where you go, you are going to get jacked by hackers. If a hacker is not aimbotting you or going through your walls, then some douche is using other "legit" methods like pillars/barricades. F2P shooters have less hackers. Probably the most rageworthy for me is a kid that couldnt have been more than 13 judging by his voice speedhacking/superjumping and killing me with a rock while trying to sound like he was from the ghetto.

Came back to our base naked to see it's raided. Friends over TS tell me to look out for some guys outside. I put kevlar on and take all the good stuff to transport it to our other base (raided one was too close to road anyway). Get out of base to see one naked dude run towards me with a handstone. I take out P250 and start shooting. Naked dude is avoiding most shots and starts hitting me with handstone. I get nervous and my aim gets worse. Naked dude starts laughing at me and flaming over voice. Hits me again and again. Kills me with handstone. Takes all our stuff. Continues laughing at me in game chat. I scream. Logged off and went to the bar to grab a beer :(

Noob crafting error #1 RAGE = crafting a whole bunch of ceilings(takes a shit load of time), then when its done and you open your inventory you see that you didnt have any space(open slots) for the ceilings and BAM you've lost the materials and the finished product.

Running to an airdrop, defending against all others, happy as hell, run back, get killed by a cheater (... killed you with a hit to your body/You suicided you silly sod.). Run back to collect your stuff because cheaters don't know where they killed you, run back, get killed again. Repeat this every day. Welcome to Germany 2 :)
