Cheater Taunts me.. and Hacks multiple times.. - Rust

Hi there, A hacker named Batman was banned on my server for blatant hacking, since then he had made it his mission to try and screw with my server as much as possible. So far he has admitted to hacking on mulitple accounts... Today I banned this guy ---> Mike Litoris, [url]http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198128803064/[/url] And then the taunts came... Nothing we can do, just keep banning him and show you dont give 2 fucks. VAC will get him.

He sounds like he is 12, wait until the new call of duty comes out. That should solve your problem.

I have talked to him through in-game prox and he sounded in his twenties... Pretty sad that he has gone completely mad hacking.

Can't you just ban his IP?

You can't ban anyone anymore basically. Steam Family Share went live out of Beta. You get banned on one steam account, just make another and family share your Rust. If players are Cheatpunch banned, they can use that to get around it also. Seen it happen multiple times on a few servers.

They aded a whitelist feature a short time ago. Maybe try that out?

It goes the other way aswell if you were to cheat on main account and then share, both accounts would get VAC.

Moving a single comma makes it clearer: "If players are Cheatpunch banned they can use that to get around it, also." Has nothing to do with VAC or its effectiveness. You even said "or even server ban" which is what I explicitly said in my other post.
