That grass looks amazing. Hopefully people can't just turn it off in the future.
It's beautiful. Love the addition of bloom. They need to show off the bokeh lens effects more, so nice. Little small size for my taste, but that's a personal thing. Still beautiful. Great job guys. Keep it up.
Really looking forward to this, it'll drastically change the way people play the game. I wonder what kind of map sizes we'll be seeing.
the grass disabling script must be deleted, it can be both useful and awesome to crawl in the grass while kevlar guys hunting you (to hide), or while you hunting them >)

It's been said somewhere that disabling grass will not be possible later on... for now I'm pretty sure we only have the option because of the issues some people have with it on. A couple patches ago I had to turn grass off because the grass would constantly flicker and I swear it woulda given me a seizure if I couldn't turn it off. Haven't heard many issues related to grass lately though, so maybe the change will happen sooner rather than later.
Does anyone know if the grass we currently have is the what we're going to be seeing as updates pass? I read somewhere on the trello that someone was working on something to go with somebody's new vegetation, or something along those lines. It'd be cool to see some variance to the plant life, although it's not really a priority at this time.

Thanks for finding that, I've been wondering about that for a while now.
I want them to redo the trees already, the current one's aren't that bad but I think the leaves need to look thicker though. We also need some more bushes/vegetation.

Meh lame. Everyone will just use .25 and it doesn't look like you can hide in it very well.
Nice, i just hope they find a way for it not to eat too much fps away with having to keep the grass 'on'. It runs like a charm on my desktop pc, but i sometimes play on my macbook as well when i'm not at home.. on my macbook it runs like shit with grass on. :)
That's awesome that Andre replied about it, that's some damn good info. I don't think everyone will use .25 -- I'm sure a majority will and I'm sure it will also give you a strategic advantage but I play more for the immersion than anything. Stupid people with their gamma cranked up and grass off.... *grumble grumble*

Rust runs tits on my pc and she's going on 4 years old or more. I think most people turn all the grass off so they can see better in pvp. Me I like the grass and shit which helps me get more immersed in the game.
