Amsterdam 1 Hackers proof, where is the fucking admin

This asshole has been wall hacking fly hacking and speed hacking in game for 3 days now, flying in bases and putting blocks everywhere without breaking in with anything. He fucked my base and my friend his bases then he afk'd in a rock floating there for a while. and yet nothing happened to him yet? why? i reported this every day, holmzy hast come online in 5-6 days. this is on Amsterdam 1. the official server.

Official servers are unmoderated for the most part and just a cesspool of hackers and general assholes. Why anyone even wants to play on them is beyond me.

well he already does have 1 vac ban on record and the video was clear proof of him hacking. He might actually be banned from the server because im pretty sure they started moderating official servers (correct me if im wrong). If not, it's only a matter of time before VAC catches up to him once again.

I'm sure VAC and / or EAC will eventually catch up with him. But in the meantime, on an unmoderated server, he's free to wreak havoc as he sees fit.

There's a reason hackers target the official servers. They know that the servers are mostly unmoderated and they can get away with fucking up peoples' game without opposition for a lengthy amount of time before the anti-cheat platforms catch up with them. On a community server with active admins, at most this guy would last a few minutes on a server before being kickbanned.

I've only had 1 instance of a hacker on the server I admin. I got a text from a friend saying there was a hacker on, and within 5 minutes, I was online and he was banned and reported to @rusthackreport

Facepunch decided to make the Official servers with no admins, and no way to get hackers banned by anyone. Only VAC and EAC which lets a ton of hackers still play.

You don't really ever want to play on an Official server if any other servers are near you. Community or Modded servers will actually ban hackers. On Official Servers - no one will.

EAC and VAC don't ban hackers immediately like an active server admin would. They ban in waves. Once the AC systems detect a hacker, they're flagged in the system and they will get banned in the next wave. How frequent those ban waves are, I have no idea. IMO, whatever they are, they should be a lot more frequent.

@rusthackreport is set up by facepunch and monitored by EAC. They have said they will come investigate claims.

True - but this still leave the many Official Servers with no help for hackers. Report, yes - but don't expect FP to take action on every report. It might help. OP said FP staff were on this server every day, and nothing was done.

Do you actually think FP has decided to investigate every report and individually ban every hacker? I don't.

The problem is: is holmzy really an admin? Has he ever said he would be an admin and ban hackers? Or is he just a FP staff member who plays on that server some times?

I'm trying rustopia us now, i heard alot of good things from there, but the community ignored every question i ask

when you lag, things moves quick for some seconds.. thats how the game is..

My apologies for the lack of answers, Rustopia is a bit of an elevated server, going in asking new questions will generally not get a response. Is there anything I can answer for you?

he's abit far but if u look good in the distance or pause you can see him fly 1.30-1.35. best to fullscreen then you can see it better.

if u look good u can still see him flying around at 1.30 minutes at the foot of the hill, look on fullscreen man, u'll be able to see it

There have been a ton of hackers on the official servers - unless you are going to suddenly pretend those servers never had any hackers in the last 6 months.

Why give the OP a hard time about the video? Do we really have to debate how good the video is as proof? What does it matter? It is of course entirely possible the person in the video was hacking - and that it was very clear to the OP that he was flying - even if the video is not that clear.

There are almost daily reports of hackers on official servers being posted here, and these accounts are often corroborated by multiple people. I've only been on official servers a few times, and in those times, I've always seen people flying, speed hacking, clipping through walls, etc. When people claim hackers on official servers, whether or not they have video evidence, I have tendency to believe them.

look, hackers exist, you will get no debate on that here. but this "proof" is a shaky branch to support requests to ban or witchhunts. the best option is still to twitter that stuff so the team can follow up, not to come to the fp forums and post a video that A) doesn't show the name of the player in question or B) prove sufficiently that said player is cheating.
