Last night i spent alot of the night crafting guns and such, this morning i wake up, and my crate had all my kevlar and guns missing but my base wasn't raided... wtf is this.
There's a tactic where someone breaks down a part of a base, goes in, loots everything and then replaces what was broken down originally to confuse people.
This likely happened to you or someone unfortunately glitched in and got your stuff.
I had a shack... with a metal door in the middle of nowhere in the mountains.
They couldn't have broken it down.

They could have easily done it if it was just a shack lol...
Its a hacker. It happened to me a few days ago. My kev suit, m4, wood, and ammo disappeared out of my 2nd base. They no clip through walls and just take what they want and disappear again. They can see everything in the game so I doubt you will see them, unless they want u to.

Hey no offence but having a shack with metal door is the stupidest idea I've heard... Gather all that metal fragment to make ur house unraidable using hatchet/pick axe yet they can just destroy ur shack. Might as well built 1x1 house which uses a pinky about 150 wood
There is also a big probability they just looted the box through the wall.
I was raided few days ago and people looted me through walls right in front of my eyes. The box was occupied (I even saw the name, but was too confused to make screenshot) for a brief moment and stuff was taken! :D
Or ur box could have had a lil bit glitched out of the wall.. Might be a glitch not hack

Also to the people saying they broke my shack, they didn't.
I've had it happen to me when I was in my house which obviously means someone was hacking. I'd bet this was the case with you, although technically someone could rebuild the wall after (for a real house).

For a house yes, for a shack and to have the door still there it is not possible.
There is a hack out where people can loot through walls. So that is always a possibility.

I agree, no one should have kevlar and guns in a shack. It only takes about 400 wood to build a small wooden house that is much more secure and will last much longer before decaying.
As for the stuff being missing... I know that crates and furnaces can clip thru walls and be accessible from the outside, I'm sure this is even more the case with a tiny structure like the shelter. Frankly, I've never seen this bug exploited with crates, seen it quite a few times with furnaces tho.
For the doubters.. This is what the cheaters see:

These past couple of weeks, the ratio of 'people losing stuff out of their houses due to cheating twerps' vs 'people losing stuff out of houses because they had a wall blasted and replaced/containers clipping their wall' has gotta be like 25:1, easy.
Now, you really CAN'T defend against cheaters duping C4 and blasting their way through infinite walls or doors.. Especially since it's impossible to hide when they can see sleepers/players/containers from miles away. What you can do, though, is try to defend against the noclip looters by building your 'vaults' at least one room deep (say a 3x3 house, so 9 foundations), metal doors, so at the very least they need to use 1-2 C4 to get in, minimum.. AFAIK the 'loot through walls' cheat only works if they can get within about 1 foundation distance from your containers. If they're in the middle of your centre foundation block then it may be out of their reach without actually raiding.

P.S: not sure if it's been fixed in recent updates, but there was an actual 'get through walls' cheat before too.. But if I understand correctly it made it a lot easier to get into a place than out of, so not terribly useful for raiding as they'd still have to blast out ;)

Those screenshots don't prove anything, it just tells people where things are... obviously still cheating and not okay but, doesn't prove that people can reach through your walls when the crate isn't clipping through.
EDIT: However I totally agree about putting things in the center of the room.
anyways cheating is for losers who suck at the game....they are sooo bad that they need cheats to be good...

Exactly.. It's a sure sign of incompetence. They never get 'good', though - how can you, when you never learn any strategy or actual survival, let alone earn anything you've obtained? People who play the game legitimately and successfully raid (or defend their base, without aimbots and crap) have their in-game loot actually mean something, and hold some significance. If you're cheating... It's just numbers in an inventory, and I can't imagine it ever giving any real satisfaction.
Oh, and Sievers, I wasn't trying to 'prove' it to you, that would be redundant as it's easy enough to search and find the forums where a few different cheats are being sold (at least a few 'legitimately' and not just scamming noobs lol), and being given feedback by hundreds of their 'customers'. I was instead simply giving some insight into what we're all up against - and denial is no defence against getting your stuff nicked, unfortunately.
