Maps and map data - making copies?

Is it possibly to make copies of Maps? I am sure the map and map data is stored on the server.

I am an admin and want offer up maps to some of my players.

The map data is a massive pile of black and red images in /storage/PNG (or wherever the sign and map storage is). Good luck finding the one you want among the tens to hundreds of thousands of images that'll be in there on an active server with a healthy population.

Maps are very much a WIP, of course. I imagine copying maps would be a future thing.
