hi all like 4 days ago i was playing with my friend on a server on rust we were building our new house because we moved servers.
on the server i was playing on before i had some problems and that was that i got kicked when i was walking down the extremly big hill in the middel of the map
and a other time was when i fell trough a rock when i was raiding someone who had hes home somewhere build near rad town
i moved server because someone blew up our metal home (even metal ceilings and stairs).
so we left the server and found a other awsome server i logged in nothing was wrong or somthing and then maby 2 days later i was banned by facepunch-connect (vac).
i totaly flipped out because i dident know what i did wrong or somthing when i fell trough the rocks i tought it was a glitch that needed to be fixed or somthing and when i was running down the hill i thout i was just normal because i was going to fast for the game.
i already sended a amail to facepunch and [email]garry@gmail.com[/email] but dident get any awsner at all so maby this post will help
can you plzzzz unban me because i dident do anything wrong. i will even buy the game again if that is possible because i like this game so mutch.
and if i dont get a unban. did i got a ip ban or only a steam user ban so i can make a other steam acount and buy it again.
plz help me i am so sad that i cant play the game now.

Get a new steam, buy a new copy of Rust, and so not cheat mo more!!!
Vac have detected something done to the gamefiles .. some changes that you or others have done to your game ( this ofc is locally on the computer you are sitting on ), and this have been detected while you have playing! Nothing more to do than as I said in the start!
well i think i hat a firus on my pc or somthing then because my virus scan was outdated i think that was going on than i downloaded a new scan and it found also some viruses in my steam folders so yea i think that is the reason i think
I think you hacked and jsut cant deal with spending another 20$, and vac bans are rarely reversed. Enjoy your ban and I hope to never see you hacking again :P
jpslimmen2, do me a favor and try connecting to the US Central 4 server, and tell us if you are able to connect their!

Yes .. do a brand new virus scan, use housecall from trend micro .. use Malwarebytes .. check all your computer... when all is cleaned ...
Uninstall Rust from your Steam account, and delete all the excess files/folders regarding Rust from SteamApps..
Now get a new Steam Account, and buy rust again, and reinstall in a new folder

And as far as I know there were no false VAC bans yet.

Considering he got dc'd by VAC then it is most likely a vac ban, and he asks if it is a ip or steam ban wondering if he could make a new account, but if you know how to read bad english like this better than me, maybe i should believe you.

Yea i have a account on mpgh but that is more for minecraft i dont hack on game like this one i only downloaded nodus and xray for minecraft for there not for this game!!! Rust is not the only game i play playing minecraft to woth other friends.

I always cross-reference it with google, I get those classy little lightning bolts from people, and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Also it's typically proof of guilt.

Oke u got me with the mpgh account but so what if i wont use it on any steam game or any other game like mw3 or tf2 this is realy the first game were i have been banned from in my hole life and this was because of a virus on my pc that doesent mean i use my mpgh account on this kind of games
i would rather pay the 20 bucks again, than getting my ass handed in forum

Because there's no reason not to trust the word of a person caught cheating in online games, despite clearly being told you shouldn't.
I'm also going to give you the keys to my house, my SSN and my baby. I trust you'll take care of them.
I like the fact people actually pay for cheats to gain pixels that will DEFINITELY be wiped multiple times before the games full release, and then just end up getting banned and losing £20+.

It's called giving him the benefit of the doubt. He claims that a virus did it, I want proof of a virus. How else would he know it was a virus if an AV didn't find it?
