so when i respawned with a rock, i thought i got raided. I died to a zombie and respawned at my house just to find out all my stuff at boxes were gone. The doors were closed. any idea what happened?

Could be that someone blew up a wall and then replaced it with one of their owns. Had this happen to me and was quite confused at first on how everything was intact but all the stuff gone.
It was fixed. As numerous people said would happen, they figured out how to get it working again. And they will sadly keep at it for as long as Rust is running because you can never 100% stop hackers/cheaters.

things like aimbot will always be there, but noclipping -- I believe that can be fixed, I've never seen someone noclipping on a game like natural selection or counter-strike

On the server I play, we have 1 base that 5 of us share. 3 of us have share on the doors. 2 don't. Everyone that went to sleep in there was killed and had all their stuff looted. We know it wasn't one of us because one of the guys killed had no share with anyone (he hasn't been online in 2 days) and he was behind a metal door with no access accept through that door so nobody replaced a wall either.
There is still no clipping and it is a pain. The admin said he got suspicious when he saw a bunch of naked guys outside the house waiting. What was going on was the hacker was probably going in, taking stuff, giving it to the new players and then going back in for more.

oh i misread it. ty. but how can he find out if it was his wall or not? Even it is a possibility, i don't think they replaced my wall. I wouldn't waste my wood

Dude I raid houses like that all the time. Blow a wall, get in, steal stuff, have a spare wall with me, repair it as I leave, owner has no idea what happened.

Explain what happened to us then. He would have had to have blown up 10 metal doors and replaced them all within the span of a couple of hours. THEN, go to the Admin's house, blow up 1 section of spiked wall and about 20 wooden walls and/or metal doors and replace all of them.

Thanks man, and thanks to the people who do these kind of things. Really helpful for us the players, and the devs to know if this exploit is still in the game or if there are idiots doing that kind of things.
Blow a wall, get the stuff and put the wall back? god, the things you read and hear these days.
