I was thinking about an idea to make the raiding much harder...
So,in order the make a weapon you need several bluprints (for the stock, barrel etc) so itll take much more time to actually acquire a weapon.
Have you got any ideas related to weapons?
Do you agree with me? disagree? explain please :)
Have a good,polite discussion!
Building a weapon from several different parts, with a single blue print would make more sense to me.
The issue with raiding though is that C4 is pretty easy to acquire, but I believe they have made it harder to make and less common, which should help.
I'm hoping C4 will be replaced with a 'homemade' explosive which is less stable and less powerful.

Jep I agree.
In real life people don't make a whole bluerpringt for every single part of a weapon.
This would be terrible to manage.
Homemade explosives would make a lot more sense. And the instability issues too. It should be a matter of honing craft. For example, when you first start, you have a 1 in 3 chance of blowing yourself up. But as you craft more, that decreases to 1 in 100.

I don't like the idea of blowing up yourself.
Nobody would try to craft it then.

Those who make homemade explosives without a lot of training do it quite often actually. It is very unstable stuff so if you don't have a degree in chemistry, you are quite literally playing with fire sometimes. If you look at 3rd world battlefields like the civil war in Syria, there are a lot of people blowing themselves up with improvised weapons and explosives.
If you are so afraid of dying, do what a real bomb maker does and find an isolated shack to make your bombs in.
I just want some spears I can throw.

Nah. Still not good for the game.
They should add a knife to the game.
Knife: It costs,
5 Metal Fragments
10 Wood
Damage Stats:
Deals 55 damage against naked, pigs, chickens, and deers.
Deals 40 against Cloth and wolves.
Deals 32 against Radiation and bears.
Deals 28 against Leather.
Deals 22 against Kevlar.
Weapon Stats:
Damage: 59
Attack Rate: 55
Description:
Very useful for hunting. Collects more meat, cloth, and leather from animals than a Hatchet. Also, it is collects faster than a Hatchet. Not recommended for hunting wood piles or rocks.

Really do hope they add some improvised knife in the game. I also hope they add throwable spears that would do a massive amount of damage, and makes the player bleed no matter what.
I got another Idea...
Spear: It Costs,
20 Metal Fragments
40 Wood
Damage Stats:
Deals 100 damage against naked and chickens (which I highly doubt you will kill them).
Deals 75 damage against Cloth, Pigs, and Deers.
Deals 60 damage against Rad and wolves.
Deals 45 against Leather and bears.
Deals 30 against Kevlar.
Weapon Stats:
Damage: 86
Attack Rate: 5
Description:
Very accurate. Useful at mid-long range. 1 spear breaks after 3 shots with the spear when picked up.
Always makes player bleed no matter what.

I think it should deal 50 damage to Kevlar, because Kevlar is really only suppose to protect you from bullets right?
I'm pretty sure this gun will not make it in the game.
M249: Costs,
50 Low Quality Metal
Damage Stats:
Deals 95 damage against naked, pigs, chickens, and deer.
Deals 80 damage against Cloth, bears, and wolves.
Deals 75 damage against Rad.
Deals 60 damage against Leather.
Deals 50 damage against Kevlar.
Stats:
Damage: 105
Attack Rate: 30
Accuracy: 45%
Description:
Very powerful weapon. good at all short-mid-long range. One of the best guns in this game. very rare to find in airdrops. Uses 5.56 ammo.

Bullet Protection: 85%
Melee Protection 80%
So they are technically the same.
Oh, never really payed attention to the melee stats. Good idea for the M249. 50 is the perfect amount too.
I would really like a larger emphasis on melee combat. Maybe they could implement something similar to what Chivalry has?
